SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns — August 11, 2009:
Beloved I have called you to be light in the midst of darkness. Let your light shine as the noonday sun. And I hear you say, “How do I do that?” You do that by allowing My Spirit to live and dwell in you and manifest Himself through you in power and righteousness. Yield completely, I say, to the work of My Spirit, and let Him have His way in every situation and circumstance. Allow Him to give you wisdom and to direct your steps and to respond according to My Word, says the Lord. Then, your light will shine.
Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 13:43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
FATHER, GOD, I WILL ALLOW MY LIGHT TO SHINE AS THE NOONDAY SUN, WITH YOUR HELP.
HOLY SPIRIT, I WILL ALLOW YOU TO LIVE AND DWELL IN ME.
I WILL ALLOW YOU, HOLY SPIRIT, TO MANIFEST YOURSELF THROUGH ME IN POWER AND RIGHTEOUSNESS. I COMPLETELY YIELD TO YOUR WORK, HOLY SPIRIT, I SAY TO YOU, HAVE YOUR WAY IN EVERY SITUATION AND CIRCUMSTANCE. I ALLOW YOU TO GIVE ME WISDOM AND TO DIRECT MY STEPS; I WILL RESPOND ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD.
PLEASE CAUSE MY LIGHT TO SHINE, THAT I MAY GLORIFY MY HEAVENLY FATHER.
