I realize many are born into it but what of the rest??? Actually we know the answer...These are folks who honestly think they can be good enough to get to heaven on their own...They have not been brought to the place where they have figured out that only God is righteous...And only God CAN be righteous...That His righteousness was given to us as a gift because no matter what we do, we will never measure up...
"This stuff" is why John Calvin said the RCC and its magisterium were vain usurpers of the office and work of the Holy Spirit.

Amen! Saved by grace and grace alone through the free, unmerited covering of Christ's righteousness mercifully credited to a believer's account by the Triune God who loved him from before the foundation of the world.
Sad to think this blessed truth has been kept from so many for so long.
