Historicity means nothing to the anti-Catholic crowd if that history somehow supports anything the Catholic Church says.
Yep, I'm learning that very quickly. When Lee Strobel uses history to make the "Case for Christ," they cheer him on. But pull out historical facts to demonstrate the Catholicism of the early Church and suddenly they are all Sola Scriptura, 'oh no we can't look at any historical information, cause it ain't in the biiiibel...'

It is really sad to think Catholics won’t use the Bible as their authority but would rather say their church fathers have the truth. Very sad.
