It’s all boiled down to the following:

1. If you are not a member of the Catholic Church (headed by the Pope or a Patriarch) you are not a Christian, you are not saved.

2. If you do not partake of the communion as defined by the Catholic Catechism, you are not a Christian, you are not saved.

3. If you do not put the words of the Pope as equal to those of Jesus and the Apostles, you are not a Christian, you are not saved.

Essentially, that’s what it comes down to - that is the position if the more vocal Catholics in this thread. And then they feign surprise why others take umbrage or issue with them.

Ultimately they have nothing more than faith to rest upon; however, we are not granted the same foundation. Our faith is suspect because it is not their faith.

Let them be the modern Pharisees, and answer to Jesus when he says “whatever you did to the least of these, you did to Me”.
