John 10:27: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me”

Matthew 4:4: But he answered and said, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Words of Christ himself.

Revelation 22:18-19: “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book”

John as well... There are many such references in the OT as well, if you’d like them.

So how about the Biblical basis for the Papacy, for the inerrancy of the Pope speaking ex cathedra?

Those verses speak in praise of Scripture, as well they should.

But they do not say sola Scriptura.

Martin Luther is in a boatload of trouble right now.

FYI, this quote is in reference to the Book of Revelations, not the entire Bible. When John wrote the Apocalypse, the Bible didn't yet exist as a collected and organized canon of Scripture.
