My take is we will never understand how God can know all, yet give us free will. It’s a mystery of God that defies logic. This is where faith enters the equation. We believe it because we do.

Pretty much. The best thing is to just leave it all in God's hands (the ultimate faith) and try to walk the way of Christ, show mercy and compassion, and goodwill to all mankind. If we all did that, we would pretty much have paradise, if not heaven on earth. :)
