Religious leaders from around the world held their own not-so-mini “G8 summit” in Italy on June 16-17. The ark of Rev 11:19 is the one in Heaven. The ark on earth was only a representation of the one in Heaven.
To be more clear: ICHABOD is an pronouncement, not a person. Ichabod was used as an exclamation to declare that “God had left the building!” [This occurred long before Elvis thought of leaving. :]
You could look, you just couldn’t touch. The “Raiders of the Lost Ark” scene kind of stretched things a bit.
There was a public procession recorded where David moved the ark and danced before it. Richard Gere depicted this in a movie as David.
