OK, so God put a book in the Bible that was nonsense to the alleged audience, as well as to all Christians for the next 1,930 years or so, until our generation? Well, I guess that's one way to make ourselves feel important. We know what John meant to tell the churches at Ephesus, Smryna, Pergama, Thyatira, etc. better than the people of that time who were the churches at Ephesus, Smryna, Pergama, Thyatira, etc. !

The wise reader will interpret Revelation in the context of the current events in play when it was written, and take into consideration the audience it was written to. We are reading their mail, you might say!
