What of EVERY CHRISTIAN before the baby theology of dispensationalism?Probably the same thing before the baby theology behind the doctrine of the Trinity which was only recognized by the Church only about some 400 years after the Ascension.

There's a difference between recognition and council ruling some 300 years after the Ascension (Nicea was 325) countering the lack of recognition of the doctrine.
The recognition of the Godhood of Christ and the Holy Spirit equal to the Father was always there, it was simply defined in council to counter the Modalists.
Had the recognition not been there it wouldn't make much sense to have a movement opposing the belief, now would it?
