The Ark of the Covenant is what came to my mind. I listen to Chuck Missler of Koinonia House. Missler can be a real crank at times. He lets on that he knows more than he really knows.

Well, topcat54, that opinion of yours about Missler might hold a little bit more weight, if you didn’t say that everyone that teaches that Israel plays a significant part in the Bible’s prophecies for the future — weren’t “cranks” too.
I haven’t heard you not dismiss a single teacher and/or preacher on the basis of them teaching about the future prophecies of Israel according to the Bible.
They’re *all cranks* according to you... LOL...

After more than 60 years of intense study and teachning during most of those years, I think Dr. Missler knows quite a bit - certainly more than you or I - I'm willing to bet. Not bad for a Naval Academy graduate and a PhD in Electrical Engineering. Also former CEO of Western Digital.
Interesting - I've listened to Dr. Missler for many years and actually met him once. Never heard a cranky word out of him - also sounds more than polite.
