I’ve heard of the Mediterranean Union and I think you may be on to something.
I don’t find that perspective very Biblical.
It’s a pile of extrapolations, inferences, assumptions, rationalizations, from where I sit.
Actually it is a construction on reality governed by your perceptions, assumptions, understandings, fantasies, inferences, extrapolations, rationalizations, interpretations etc. . . .
it is . . . at least . . . your reality on such issues.
It can’t be anything else in this mortal realm.
Whether your reality on such issues is whatever percent congruent with God’s TOTALLY TRUE reality on such issues is a whole ‘nother . . . issue.
IT APPEARS THAT there was enough of a struggle amidst the variety of possibilities . . . and it was enough of an intense emotional struggle . . . that by the time a position was settled on, it was grabbed with a fierce death grip that has little to do with any purported ‘objective’ Biblical reality on such matters.
That’s a bit sad, to me.
On matters which Scripture is not emphatically super clear on . . . I TRY to hold things much more loosely and wait and see what God confirms in ‘objective’ ‘tangible’ reality.
Time will tell, and so will the mark.
You are showing your ignorace by implying that somehow the New Testament emerged as full blown as Jonah belched from a whale. For more than three hundred years the Doctors of the Church debated the issue. Some material was excluded, and some was included after great debate. I can think of no one or no occasion when God spoke to church leaders and demanded that Revelation either be included or excluded. The New Testament may be the word of God, but its organization (and translation) was man-made.
I haven’t the foggiest notion of what you are driving at. Do you?
You made a cheeky accusation.
I replied that I don’t know anyone for whom the accusation would fit.
I didn’t realize
That someone calling themselves a “Christian”
believed that Holy Spirit went back to Heaven or had
HIS HANDS AND VOICE TIED AND SILENCED
during that process.
I’m sure God is impressed that you’ve declared Him incompetent and/or AWOL in the compiling of The Canon.
I don’t understand your point in that post.
I’d like to understand it.

What prompted this?
The point is time will tell if it is pre or post and if the warning of the mark in Rev is for all His saints or just those who the pre trib doctrine has relegated to a non Bride status.

Pre-Trib ‘doctrine’
relegates NO ONE to a NON-BRIDE status or category.
Your own fantasies are one thing.
God’s reality will likely be quite different on this score.
I can think of no one or no occasion when God spoke to church leaders and demanded that Revelation either be included or excluded. The New Testament may be the word of God, but its organization (and translation) was man-made.

I see ... I suppose they don’t believe God is in control. There is no way that God would allow the Bible to have books in it that He did not approve of. Sad.
I disagree with your construction on ‘reality.’
I have never observed it to be very successful when mortals attempt to confine
ALMIGHTY GOD AND HIS DOINGS
to their puny little pseudo-tidy little boxes.
I’ve found ALMIGHTY GOD TO ALWAYS BE BIGGER THAN SUCH PRESUMPTIONS, ASSUMPTIONS.
I fiercely concur.
Thanks.
Then answer my question what are the tribulation saints?
I’ve answered it repeatedly.
You refuse to handle well any answer that conflicts with your assumptions.
ALL BELIEVERS END UP PART OF THE BRIDE OF CHRIST.
Nothing else makes sense.
Your distinctions are unBiblical, artificial, nonsenscal, silly.
We will see
