People would be wise not to question the literal interpretation of our Bible. If its in the Bible, its the Word of God

Amen to that! If the Lord wanted us to know more or how, He would have explained it in His Word!

Feel free to believe whatever you want in your religious faith. Don’t call it science.

People would be wise not to question the literal interpretation of our Bible.

Why? What are the consequences behind this threat? And who's that "our" in "our Bible"?

Amen to that! If the Lord wanted us to know more or how, He would have explained it in His Word!

So if something isn't in the Bible (like, say, powered flight, the germ theory of disease, nuclear fission and fusion, the computer you're using to post here, etc.,) we have no business learning anything about it?

Are you two advocating some kind of "Ignorance Theology" enforced by a threat of hell for daring to use the brain God gave you?

The theological positions around this place are starting to sound disturbingly reminiscent of "1984".
