It is really neat to know that when God promised David a Kingdom that would last forever with its capital in Jerusalem in the Davidic covenant. He could read David’s mind and know that David was thinking about a literal kingdom on earth. God saw no need to correct David’s thinking. God will keep his promises.

Yes, indeed...
And, to add to that, it's sort of amazing to know that there are people (certain Christians) who think and will say that God knew what David was saying/thinking and meant -- but that God was going to "trick him" anyway, and saw no need to "clue him in" on the fact that God was not going to do what King David thought God was telling him.
That would make God out to be more of a trickster than Satan himself... if God really was that way... LOL...
"Thank God" He's not... and that God does tell the truth and that He says what He means and does what He says... :-)
