As to what you've heard I cannot comment on except to say they must not cherish truth as much as they should.

One thing is for sure: Life teaches us many things we might miss while trying to earn a living.
Truth is the truth, and no amount of lying will change it.
Remember that not all the world has had the opportunity for Absolute Truth, and even some who have been offered it don’t recognize it.
The Truth doesn’t need defending, as it will still be standing once all the lies have gone.
