But the life of single celled organisms doesn't end as a result of degeneration. Single celled organisms have never experienced death.

Your statement seems a tad hyperbolic to me, js1138, or at least a sweeping over-generalization. Do you accept Alexis Carrel's opinion on this question? Please elaborate your point!
