English has one word for love.. but love is more complicated than that.. A proper understanding of the greek words for love(NTestament) must be understood.. to grasp the meanings of many verses.. The "kind" of love is mandatory to get the meaning.. Example: when Jesus said to Peter(Cephas) three times do you love me.. he used several words.. with unique meanings.. Lost in English(mostly)
