Yeah, you're the one who was criticizing the Church yesterday for spending "hundreds of thousands on that little show. You're the first "catholic" I know of that calls the Mass "a show."

Mass wasn’t designed to be a show: and if a big flashy event is your thing....then I’m sorry for you.

Jesus set the example...you might want to think about that.

The history of wearing vestments in the celebration of the liturgy and worship of Almighty God, dates back to the early Church. Excursus on the Vestments of the Early Church . If Happy would prefer to meet God in casual attire, that's a personal choice but for priests who call God down from Heaven and hold Him, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in their hands, dress slacks and a sports jacket are inappropriate.
