There are few atheists on deathbeds.

While this is certainly possible, there are so many stories of deathbed conversions by the founders of our modern G-dless morass (Lenin and Darwin are two others) that I cannot but approach these stories with caution. Granted, the Vatican has more authority than the old wives' tales told about Lenin and Darwin, but perhaps I've grown jaded.
Too bad his conversion came too late to spare the rest of us his diabolical plot.

Perhaps Jesus can still forgive him at such a point.
I find it difficult. Living one’s life with fantasies of power, promoting all the lies of Communism, seeking to destroy peoples’ freedoms, their livelihoods, and even seeking to destroy the Church. It’s hard to forgive all that.

Gramsci was the guy that coined the phrase “long march through the institutions” to describe how to implement Communism not by bloody revolution but by gradually rotting out the structures of Western society through means such as “political correctness” and “multiculturalism”. In some ways, Gramsci’s legacy is as evil as Stalin’s and Mao’s.

BFD. Little difference than if Hitler had.
The Marxist cultural revolution that Gramsci launched is still killing people around the world by the hundreds of thousands (think Rwanda and Darfur) and helped to put the zero in power. He helped destroy education in this country by turning academe into an indoctrination camp that has brainwashed tens of millions of voters in this country.
Too bad his grave isn't nearby. I just had a big glass of water.

If Dante were here he’d name a pit after Antonio Gramsci.

Dying has the ability to focus one’s priorities.
