Roe V Wade started the downfall of this country.

it started way before that... it started in the 1880s during the Progressive Education Movement led by John Dewey, who gave us "situational ethics," in place of absolutes... this is when good Americans handed over their control of their children's educations to the government... all of this has led to the state of our current government schools...

Actually, it started long before the first human being showed up in this land. Whether you believe in the Garden of Eden or not, it is hard to deny that there enough Cain in all of us humans to make it damnably un-Able to love our "brothers" as we should, and maintain the kind of peace and harmony that we associate with living in any kind of Utopian world--or Paradise.

We have ALL "fallen short of the glory of God"--and what "wretches"--to use Paul's own desription of himself--we are. And yet, while we were still sinners, God "so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son"--and this so that:

"Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death." (Eph. 8:1-2)

Man--those words just give me a lot of comfort--and COMFORT--on this rather dismal morning! And they remind me of what my precious husband (known here as 1John until his untimely death in 2002) loved to say: "Our snakes can eat their snakes"! Amen and AMEN!
