Oh. Well. POLicy! Alrighty then! THAT's persuasive.

It's JR's board. He can do what he wants. Those to whom he gives power can do what they want as long as he's happy with it.

Calling it "policy" neither condemns, justifies, excuses, nor disparages it. It's just a way of saying, "We do it because we do it." And the suggestion that "policy" is like the law of the Medes and the Persians? What's up with that? Policy is not handed down from on high, and even those "policies' were not followed ...

In this instance my complaint is not against what is done (though at other times I might complain about that.)

I just can't let "It's a matter of policy" go by without commenting.

If I may suggest it, a simple, "It ain't gonna happen," is no less communicative and a lot crisper.

Away from the confuser for 50 hours or so. Leave some blood on the floor of the chariot for the Mad Dawgs to lick up..
