To claim otherwise is deception. No one claimed otherwise. The Catechism is a faithful reflection of the entire Sacred Deposit of faith that the Church received, and it is available to all, rather than secret. It includes things not directly found in the scripture, because the scripture is a subset of the Deposit of Faith. I am sorry if it did not become clear earlier, despite my best effort.
