Lots of it has been purchased later. I guess paying for it twice is not too much, considering the amount of our blood we left behind.
Perhaps, I don’t have the deed list handy, nor the amount of blood from both sides.
It is odd though, that one would return to such places, to such collective memories, once the connection is lost.
