While interesting, two parts of this would appear to be unbiblical.
1) anybody who believes in God gets into heaven. Not Biblical.
2) there is no age of accountability.....people claim there is, but there is no evidence for this.
I think you are reading things into it.
I said ‘age of accountability’ I don’t know that that phrase was used in any of the media. It was my interpretation of what was described.
The “anybody who believes in God’ is an over simplification. He didn’t spell it out and I didn’t either. I don’t know precisely that would entail from God’s perspective.
Scripture says quite plainly that those who call on the Name of The Lord shall be saved.
There is the whole rest of Scripture to compare with that.
However, I’m convinced that God’s nature is such that He’s looking for Biblical excuse to save people, not Biblical excuse to damn them.
Regardless . . . you are certainly free to think what you will.
Thanks for your bothering to reply.
That's because it's different for each person, and God alone knows what it is for each individual. If He had spoken of it in scripture, human nature would be to pin it down to a number, and then extrapolate it into a whole incorrect theology. Whatever that age is, is between each person and The Lord Himself.
