Quix has had a very difficult time being the sole care giver of two elderly parents, one who succumbed to Alzheimers within the last year or so.
He never got much rest as it was a full time job.
He was home a lot and found comfort here on Free Republic with many whom he thought were his friends.
He has a good heart. Someone waited until the religion mod was gone and then had Quix, who had posted here for years, banned as a troll.
Quix is good hearted and has never done harm to anyone.

My heart goes out to him and my prayers are with his family.
May God support him and comfort him in all this.
Dear 1000 silverlings,
Quix appreciates your supportive words, they deeply touched him.
He hadn’t realized he’d put Jim ahead of his own dad in prayer priority, but he really had. Quix loves Jim Robinson and he loves Free Republic.
Quix did faithfully help care for his mother in her final years till she graduated from this earthly life three years ago.
He is grateful to be able to live next door to his step dad and enjoys spending time with him. His step dad is also in his 80s and thankfully is doing quite well.
He is sorely missed here on Free Republic by many.
Thanks again for your kind words.
Joya
We may not have always agreed, but he was never a troll.
I always thought it was nice, his posts were so distinctive if I didn't want to read them they were easy to spot and skip.
Ooops. Well, I’ve restored his account.
Thanks,
Jim
I agree. Quix has become a dear friend to me and I am a little more than upset about this. He posted well within the boundaries set for him by the religion moderator. I pray he would be allowed back on. He has never attacked anyone, only institutions, and has shown real humility over the years. His devotion to JimRob has been inspiring, to say the least.

Amazing (and bizarre). How was this done?
