An absurd statement that places doubt on whether Mary was a believer.
It is rather disgusting how venomous some become just to express their hatred of His Church.
But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it." -- Luke 11:27-28"And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
Christ rebuked and corrected the woman who blessed Mary by saying "Yea, rather blessed are they that hear the word of God and keep it."
Therefore, from Christ's own lips we learn that Mary was not blessed because she was His mother, but because she was a believer.
