I'm surprised you missed an assumption. "feeling hated." Note the condescension. We complain about a feeling.
But I say again, when we have at least a couple of people discussing raising a point to upset us, NOT because of the truth of the point, then the proposition has been shown to be so. Some Protestants here desire and intend ill for some Catholics here.
We complain about the hate, because the hate is here.

All I’m saying is that when someone says something like, “Feel the hate.” it’s not that the person is feeling Hated, but hate of the idea sure is.
So when a “feel the hate” statement is made, it’s not correct to say, “I am hated.” Nor “The poster is saying that the first poster hates them.” but it is evident that there is an amount of hate going on.
Not person to person but idea to idea.
What a foul and disingenuous statement. I doubt there is anyone on this forum who "desires and intends ill" for any Catholic anywhere. What a preposterous and creepy thought.
You do know the story about the two-timing Frenchmen who looked under his bed for any evidence of his wife's adultery, don't you? He found none but his own.
I am regularly thankful that I am separated by geography and anonymity from some of the people here.
