Why would the "Catholic Church" have been founded by Torah-observant Jews on the YHvH commanded Feast of Shavuot where the Law being given to Moses is celebrated ? They believed Jesus was Christ. Thus they were Christians. They founded Christ's Church according to His command and instruction.
