Another reason I left the RCC, can’t get there stories straight.

Obviously you cannot, since you said this:

Which Apostle taught the Assumption as a plan of salvation?

The Assumption is not A plan of salvation. It is PART of the Truth revealed to us by God, through His Church, founded by God the Son and guided to this day by God the Holy Spirit.

Truth revealed by God, later condemnation ensues 1500 years later (From the time the legend arose) if you even question it? I seem to remember the words "It is finished". Good grief. Tell me, if this was "truth" that God wanted to be revealed what took Him so long?

Are you aware how historically shaky and a tradition, void of linkage from the ACTUAL event the Assumption comes from? The Assumption popped out of thin air CENTURIES after the fact. That is not revelation, especially coming from gnostic literature.

Also, you are ignoring Pius XII ex cathedra "revelation" of God 1900 years after the fact that if you don't believe this stuff you are not saved. Hence, Assumption=plan of salvation, ignoring it will get you wrath 3 different ways. Or is there salvation outside the Catholic Church?

Also are those Catholics who questioned the Assumption grandfathered in? Never get an answer for this. I assume they do.
