Christ is talking about the difficulty of following Him. No one said it is easy. Nonetheless:

1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,
1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

“Who will have all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth”

Isn’t there a contradiction in the two thoughts?
