Not only is it not part of Catholic teaching, it is prohibited.

Legislators have a Code of Ethics. Legislators lie, cheat, and steal.

Police have a Code of Ethics. Police lie, cheat, and steal.

The Catholic Church doesn't teach the worship of Mary. Catholics do.

Eliminate the "Catholics" who violate "Catholic Teaching" and you have a tiny minority religion.
