“I’m the one who pointed out the Aramaic word “Kepha” to you.”

then you must have missed this.

“There is nowhere in the Greek New Testament where the word Ke’pha’ is given as the correct translation of the Greek word Petra. In the Peshitta Syriac New Testament the Greek word “PETRA” is translated by the Aramaic word SHU`A’ as in Matthew 7:24-25 meaning a massive rock or a boulder.”

Gender of the Greek word Petra: masculine or feminine?

“He often did this to confuse and belittle His Disciples, or so I’ve been informed here.”

Well He certainly fooled Jerome.

What a sweet yet off-the-wall and thoroughly untrue notion.

PETRA is a feminine noun. PETROS is its masculine form.

Who would translate Our Lord giving Simon Peter a feminine name?

What a fascinating
burp of
THOROUGH GOING
UNMITIGATED
BRAZEN
FALSEHOODS
unsuccessfully
pretending
to be
RELIGIOUS
erudition
and
orthodoxy.

“Who would translate Our Lord giving Simon Peter a feminine name?”

That’s the point, so it must refer to Peter’s witness that “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God”, a truth that Jesus would build His followers on.

You know, Jesus can take all that rage from you, but in my experience He requires you to humble yourself, first.

Would someone PLEASE give our separated brethren a tutorial on "the excluded middle?"

That’s the point...

The point is that no one would translate Our Lord giving Simon Peter a feminine name, it would be absurd. The gender of the noun was changed but Cephas (male Greek of Aramaic Cepha) is given precisely in the Bible. The Aramaic does not mean "pebble." It means Rock.

What a curious comment.

No rage involved, at all.

Quite calm.

Must be another RC fantasy.

Your choice of words speaks otherwise.

Hmmmm

Should we call that . . .

mind-reading?
emotions-reading?
spirit-reading?
fantasized labelilng?
a simple cheap shot?

LOL.

I’m underwhelmed with the analysis, to put it mildly.

Thankfully, God knows quite well.

I believe "observation" is the word you're looking for.
