Well, I think the chart captures the reason why very well. You'll notice that front & center of everything is the concept of "Free Agency." While that sounds all great, even the Book of Mormon reaffirms the notion of folks being spiritually dead.
Spiritual deadness does not = spiritual freedom.
LDS think that Jesus' death on the cross automatically canceled out everybody's sin-ties to Adam & Eve, hence providing "free agency." Not (automatically) so.
Spiritual bondage, not spiritual free agency, is more prominent.
Otherwise the apostle Paul would not have talked about spiritual bondage and spiritual deadness so prevantly (Romans 6; Eph. 2:1-4; Galatians 4:21-31, other parts of Galatians, etc.).
