Your pictures accurately portray the Temple ceremony. I have taken part in them. They are not Christian ceremonies.
Mormons are free to believe whatever they want, but the world should be free to know what is done by them in secret, should it become exposed. It is a free country. It is posted on the internet.
I don’t even see the point of having secret anything.
If a religion is the right way to God, why are parts of it kept secret? Jesus kept no secrets about how to get to God. He said, “I am the way, the truth, the life. No man comes to the Father but through me.”
That doesn’t sound like it needs some secret ceremony to accomplish and I don’t see any precedent in the OT Scripture of Jewish ceremonies that were secret.
I thought the only time people kept secrets were when they had something to hide.
For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. (Luke 8:17 KJV)
Clearly Jesus did not expect that any ritual or sacrament should be kept secret.
Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. (John 18:20 KJV)
Any Church with "secret" ceremonies should be automatically considered suspect. Secret Ceremonies are by their very nature Un-Christian.
