if the button was hit was the disruptor advised of his / her behavior and handled in the manner youve previously described to us ?
No where in the Bible would you read at anytime that Lord would allow such activities to violate sneaking in and taking illigal things that dont belong to those who did this it was a wicked act.
So taking part in a secretive oath, and swearing allegiance to an organization by swearing to have your own blood spilt if you ever reveal the secret ordinance is something Christ would have done? Please site anything anywhere that isn't a Mormon scripture which shows Christ participating in such a satanic ritual.
It is a known fact many have brag about it on the internet years ago in 2004 this was made know!
Now days we have bar codes on our Recommend to prevent that!
That is a lie and are aware of that but I don’t expect much from... anymore!
“Not really because the way those things are portrayed is by x Mormons...”
Please walk me through your logic. This means the rituals don’t take place exactly as enacted... how?
Your pictures accurately portray the Temple ceremony. I have taken part in them. They are not Christian ceremonies.
Mormons are free to believe whatever they want, but the world should be free to know what is done by them in secret, should it become exposed. It is a free country. It is posted on the internet.
1. As one of the effective causes leading to the apostasy of the Primitive Church we have specified: Unauthorized additions to the ceremonies of the church, and the introduction of vital changes in essential ordinances.
Likewise, are proxy baptism for the dead, and the addition of special undergarments indications of the same thing the author bemoans?
Resty, It looks as if you might be getting a bit personal, calling me a liar and assigning motives, but I rather your post stand than have it pulled. It leaves a wonderful record of your words.
I doubt Jesus would care about people taking pictures of secular activities like Masonic rituals. I think he would be more concerned with people taking oaths and then breaking those oaths. Or people taking oaths at all for that matter.
Let your yes be yes...
I do think it is stupid for people to post the pictures. I would hate for someone to do that to a fraternity ritual.
And I also cast my eyes round about, and beheld, on the other side of the river of water, a great and spacious building; and it stood as it were in the air, high above the earth.
And it was filled with people, both old and young, both male and female; and their manner of dress was exceedingly fine; and they were in the attitude of mocking and pointing their fingers towards those who had come at and were partaking of the fruit.
And after they had tasted of the fruit they were ashamed, because of those that were scoffing at them; and they fell away into forbidden paths and were lost (1 Ne. 8:2428).
from the article: 1. As one of the effective causes leading to the apostasy of the Primitive Church we have specified: Unauthorized additions to the ceremonies of the church, and the introduction of vital changes in essential ordinances.
you may call it minor dear, but a bar code requiring entry is a vital change as it was NOT part of the "primitive" church.
If were going to play this primitive church game, does either you, Saundra or UG dare speak in church ?
1 Corinthians 14:34 women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says.
because if you do, you (and everyone who allows it) has made a vital change in the "essential ordinance" of the church and are just as guilty as the modern church the author squeals about
Open threads are a town square posters may argue for or against beliefs of any kind. They may tear down other's beliefs. They may ridicule, similar to the Smoky Backroom with the exception that a poster must never make it personal. Reading minds and attributing motives are forms of making it personal. Thin-skinned posters will be booted from open threads because in the town square, they are the disrupters.
am I thin skinned for bringing this to your attention
reminds me of the old monty python skit - "I cant stop saying it" LOL
Let your yes be yes...

These are Covenants you have heard of Keeping my Commandments haven't you?
Luke 1
68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;
73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, 79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
80 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.
2 Chr. 34:
29 ¶ Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.
30 And the king went up into the house of the Lord, and all the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the people, great and small: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the Lord.
31 And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant which are written in this book.
32 And he caused all that were present in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand to it. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.
33 And Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and made all that were present in Israel to serve, even to serve the Lord their God. And all his days they departed not from following the Lord, the God of their fathers.

Let it stand. I hope that none of us become thin-skinned. Perhaps this thread is bait to target protestants against Catholics and get many of us banned.
Don’t respond the the disruptors except in love.
I agree but you know what James said about oaths
Jas 5:11-12 MKJV
(11) Behold, we count blessed those who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is full of pity and of tender mercy.
(12) But before all things, my brothers, do not swear; neither by the heaven nor by the earth, nor any other oath. But let your yes be yes, and your no, no, lest you fall into condemnation.
It was Herod’s oath that got John beheaded.
The Mormons can build some serious structures.
2 Nephi 25
26 And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.
While those on the outside enter another kind of spacious building who mock and scoff at the LDS!
1 Nephi 8
28 And after they had tasted of the fruit they were ashamed, because of those that were scoffing at them; and they fell away into forbidden paths and were lost
29 And now I, Nephi, do not speak all the words of my father.
30 But, to be short in writing, behold, he saw other multitudes pressing forward; and they came and caught hold of the end of the rod of iron; and they did press their way forward, continually holding fast to the rod of iron, until they came forth and fell down and partook of the fruit of the tree.
31 And he also saw other multitudes feeling their way towards that great and spacious building.
32 And it came to pass that many were drowned in the depths of the fountain; and many were lost from his view, wandering in strange roads.
33 And great was the multitude that did enter into that strange building. And after they did enter into that building they did point the finger of scorn at me and those that were partaking of the fruit also; but we heeded them not.
34 These are the words of my father: For as many as heeded them, had fallen away.
I don’t even see the point of having secret anything.
If a religion is the right way to God, why are parts of it kept secret? Jesus kept no secrets about how to get to God. He said, “I am the way, the truth, the life. No man comes to the Father but through me.”
That doesn’t sound like it needs some secret ceremony to accomplish and I don’t see any precedent in the OT Scripture of Jewish ceremonies that were secret.
I thought the only time people kept secrets were when they had something to hide.
