NET: I guess we all have to be a little less repelled, don't we?
I would like to meet the Protestant who is not repelled by the sentence, "Mary is the co-redeemer."
Show of hands?

“Show of hands?”
LOL! As the smart kid in grammar school, who doesn’t want his classmates to hate him, I too, am sitting on my hands. That sentence is repugnant (a word from Pinky and the Brain) to anyone who knows the Gospel.
I fiercely agree with you.
No surprise there.
However, i HOPE we don’t turn THIS thread into one of THOSE threads! Sheesh.

Well, you can’t talk about it.
It sure repels me. How can anyone make her a co-redeemer when God didn’t?????
Ultimately, it doesn’t matter if we are offended by it or not. What is the support of it? Scripture doesn’t. For any Protestant, Baptist, or non-denominational person, that should be enough.
I would like to meet the Protestant who is not repelled by the sentence, “Mary is the co-redeemer.”
It is truly unfortunate that you would not be soooooo repelled by Mary who is also the “Mother of God”, the “Theodokos” and “Queen of Heaven and Earth” that you took it somewhere else.
