The limits on the free speech in the town square are a matter of decency. Pornography is not allowed, profanity is not allowed, etc. Propaganda is allowed. Lies are allowed. Propaganda is allowed, lies are allowed...well, I always used to avoid those. Things that make you go "hmmmmmm..."

That is the nature of a “town square.” There is no lithmus test for “truth” and no quality control. Everyone has a voice - even the ignorant and stiff-necked.
