Do you know what empirical science is?

In My Arrogant opinion:>P>Empirical science is the effort to develop "Theories" or systematic and reasonable accounts of natural phenomena in a process which can be described thus:

  1. The observation of natural phenomena and their examination leads the the articulation of a conjecture.
  2. The conjecture is analyzed and it or a portion of it is formulated in such a way that it can be tested by observation.
  3. Observations are carried out, or, if the phenomena are of a convenient kind, experiments are designed to produce date with will confirm or refute the conjecture.
  4. Conjectures which consistently are verified by observation or experiment are considered and that consideration is added to the pool of information which prompts further conjectures.
An field of empirical science is the attempt to articulate a theory which is sufficiently general as to account for all observations.

How'd I do?

You did pretty good...

One thing you might have missed, the colloquial use of theory is very different than the scientific use.
(you can read about the common misuse of the word here)

Once you understand how empirical science works, it should be obvious why trying to use it to explain God makes a mockery of both.

i.e., you can't put God in a scientific 'box'.
