You can look for another translation of the word til the cows come home but you won't find one that improves on that translation, or elevates Mary to a higher position without distorting the Greek word used for the translation...

Then go back to Genesis 3:15. The enmities put between "the woman" and Satan are THE SAME as the enmities put between Jesus Christ and Satan. Moreover, the verse clearly states that SHE shall crush the head of Satan.

So, good luck trying to explain that.

Has it escaped your attention that much of the New Testament was written AFTER Paul was martyred? This is a FACT which is universally agreed upon.

(I would agree the concept of the Trinity is found, nothing regarding the papacy). But, then you hypocritically attack sola scriptura as not being valid since a verse does not specifically say 'sola scriptura' (even though I Cor. 4:6 does indeed say not to exeed what is written). Okay, got it. Only those 'beliefs' you hold count.

It's simple really. Those supporting the idea of sola scriptura must be able to present all of their ideas as supported by scripture.

Those who don't, don't. Get it?

Please explain Genesis 3:15. Who is “the woman” what is the enmities that protect her seen (Jesus Christ) from Satan (note: the enmities are the SAME) and why is the woman crushing Satan’s head?

Perhaps you could post a general rundown of an acceptable definition of the Sacraments?

Am I missing something? I've looked at 10 translations of Genesis 3:15, including the Jerome's Vulgate, and don't understand what you are asking. The verse says there will be enmity (hatred) between the serpent's seed and Eve's seed, and that Eve's seed will bruise the serpent's head and he will bite her seed's heel. I don't understand what part you have the woman playing in this.
