"Then you need to take him off the crucifixes and the crosses you have on the walls of some of your churches."
Can't be said enough.

Then you need to take him off the crucifixes and the crosses you have on the walls of some of your churches. 1 Cor 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified

Do you mean we don’t have the originals, or that it was not originally written in Greek?

The people that read and believe my bible, the Authorized Version, know that it originated in Antioch Authorized by whom?

Oh, what language did St. Luke write his gospel in?
And who wrote Acts? In what language?

There are questionable textual issues. Also I think the KJV translation of Col 1:24 indicates a certain sense of "Paul couldn't possibly have meant THAT!"
It is still a monument whose place can never be taken away. I remember well when I was 12 and I had mistakenly picked up an RSV from which to read at Episcopal Morning Prayer in Advent, and Fr. John Warren (May he rest in peace) yanked my chain after the service.
One of the sad, sad things about this age is that people no longer speak English or know anything other than their own tawdry slang.
In 7th grade Latin we encountered the verb "laudo". I was 11 years old. I said to the teacher, "That just means 'laud.'" He, astonished, asked what I thought "laud" meant, and I said, "Praise." I learned it in Sunday worship, for crying out loud!
Okay. I admit it. You didn't need to know that.

***people who renounced their Catholicism the moment they behold the glory of Christ.***
Why would we renounce our Catholicism when we behold the glory of Christ in the Holy Eucharist? He is there Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. There is nothing more glorious than that - short of seeing Him face to face in heaven!

He is. There is not only revival in the wings, but also terror. I’m not saying you will SEE God but you will see what He’s doing.

I like the one that says a church is a hospital for sinners, not a museum for saints.
