Yes, that was a small icon of the Virgin Mary, given to him by his brother (who is Catholic).

Yes, Mary and infant Jesus. I remember that well. It was election night 2004. I am a devout Catholic, and always found a kindred spirit in President George W Bush. His brother Jeb was our Governor here in Florida, he is a Catholic. That is why when that idiot Chris Matthews was accusing W of being anti-Catholic, I never believe it.

Not very persuasive, imo. I don’t think President Bush shows any sign of being dissatisfied with his present religious beliefs and practices.
