Judging by Mark Twains comments and the preponderance of "Mary" threads as of late I would say that's debatable.

Twain states clearly he could be wrong. The "preponderance of 'Mary' threads" does nothing to "prove" Catholics worship Mary.

They are, however, filled with evidence of anti-Catholic hate.

I sometimes feel that fundamentalists dislike Catholics more than they dislike atheists. Perhaps it is due to the teaching of actual science in the Catholic schools that drives their anger.

They do prove though that many Catholics devote an extraordinary amount of time to Mary.

They are, however, filled with evidence of anti-Catholic hate.

Sometimes, but I wouldn't say that's the motivation of 90% of the participants.
