I think we would have unity if Maryiolgy was ignored on both sides. Then perhaps we would have unity but probably not until.

We, Catholics, cannot ignore any part of the gospel in order to look for “unity”, but I agree that it would be better for the health of the ecumenical relations iof the Protestants learn to ignore things in Catholicism they themselves do not practice and are not likely to correctly understand.
