To assert that a MAJOR contradiction to Scripture and most offensive outrage to Prottys far and wide is the only possible means or source of unity in Christianity

is at once instantly and outrageously

1. blasphemous and idolatrous

and

2. one of the most convolted, up-side down instances of irrational illogic that I've ever observed in my 61 years.

In all seriousness, this argument we are having with many posters here is gender based. That is, it is men using a logical argument style while women are using the “feeling/perception” argument style.

Notice it feels a little like arguing with liberals. There is a reason for that.

There is also a reason the Christian paradigm is patriarchal.
