Oh boloney it is a fact there are many out there living a moral loving life who are not members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Day in and day out these threads run 24/7 with the mainstream wraths, strifes, backbiting, whisperings, swellings, tumults faultfinding about another faith!

As long as I can remember the LDS could never have a civil conversation that someone from the mainstream did not think it was their mission to muddy the water.

If that did not work, than some one will bring up x Mormons, which leads another to reply why the X-er’s left and when it was pointed out why most left, it was called being judgmental, instead of it being recognized that was a response to those who was slamming the Church in the first place.

I know people who left and the Church don’t bother them, unless those who left continue to bother the Church, and even than the Church very seldom gets involved.

In the Lord Church are anoint servants who have a responsibility and when someone leaves that all i’s dotted, and t’s been cross, meaning they are sure that is what they want to do, after that there is no more need for contact on religious basis.(being the fact that in some cases might be family or friends)

As a member there is no need to bother that person about religion, but should a member be among a crowd where some one intentionally brings up the Church to bad mouth I think that person might be called on it.

So if one say the Church won’t leave them alone there are two sides to that story.

The Church tries very hard to be good neighbors and that includes those who left.

I think it is fair to say when someone really leaves the Chruch they leave it alone.

I left the Presbtertian Church over 44 years ago for disappointing reasons but I have never started a web site and pound on them!

One supposes to KNOW why others leave the mormon church, making accusations of "wanting to sin"...

well, I "wanted to sin" by drinking a glass of iced tea, a cup of coffee, a glass of wine with a meal, wanted to wear any darned underwear I chose to wear, pay my tithe to a church because I wanted to honor God and help my church, not because I was coerced into paying so that I could reach some MAN'S idea of "exaltation", wanted to be able to attend the geographical church of MY choice, not be forced into attending a certain one by church leaders, wanted my children to be able to have their friends and families attend their weddings according to THEIR desires, not be forced to leave some out of the wedding party because they were "unworthy". and if I chose to leave a church, as I have done since, just say goodbye to my pastor and ministers and have my records transferred to another, as MOST Christians feel free to do......Oh, yeah, I wanted to sin all right!

And I ENJOY all this "sinning"...having a cup of nice coffee right at this minute. Beats the heck out of that nasty Postum!
