***Well, you’ve just about erased the entire Gospel in that one sentence. ***

That’s rather strange, given that your entire post does not quote a single word from the Gospel. You quote Paul extensively, and Peter once.

Reformed doctrine depends heavily on fragments of Paul and the occasional out of context verse from the OT. Perhaps in the pursuit of efficiency, Reformed Bibles have the rather inconvenient Gospels expunged. Lord knows that they don’t get read or understood by the Reformed.

Reformed doctrine depends heavily on fragments of Paul and the occasional out of context verse from the OT. Perhaps in the pursuit of efficiency, Reformed Bibles have the rather inconvenient Gospels expunged.

"Gospels expunged?" Do you even know what the Gospel is? Does your Bible contain more than four books of the Gospels? Fascinating.

Reformed theology, just like Paul and the Apostles, bases every thought, word and deed on Jesus Christ.

You'll please note that you say I post too much of Paul. But in the nearby post where I offer Christ's exact words, you dismiss them with an haughty "irrelevant." lol.

Again, the RCC wants it both ways.

I didn't know the RCC only used the red letters of the Bible, but if that's all you'll respond to, then read this and learn by it.

"I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word" -- John 17:9-10,20

"Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word...

He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." -- John 8:42-43,47

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." -- Matthew 7:15-20

"But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch." -- Matthew 15:13-14

"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." -- John 3:3

"But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." -- John 10:26-29

I'm sure Paul would join me in praying for your ability to read these words of Christ and to know the comfort of their perfect assurance in His work on the cross alone.
