The Sheep Pens in John ch10.. testifies to that..
Jesus is the GATE and "some" follow his voice "OUT" of them..
BUT the sheep pens are pens for SHEEP.. NOT goats..
The metaphor is intact..

To extend a bit on the John 10 metaphor of Christ being the Gate and leading His sheep:

The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
