[Kosta:] So, those who have faith don't have enough of it (although once saved you can't lose it!)? Is that what you are saying? And how come today all we need is just faith; no miracles needed?

The Resurrection is all the proof we need. The miracle that GOD the Father would love us so much that he would send his Son Jesus Christ to pay for our sins is enough. Jesus proved it all true when he rose from the dead and appeared to hundreds.

What miracle could come close to this?

AMEN!

I was reading Mark 10 this morning where Christ is telling His disciples what was about to happen to Him...

"Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:

And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again." -- Mark 10:33-34

At which point James and John asked Christ to "Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory."

And then Christ spoke these verses...

"But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?

And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:

But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared." -- Mark 10:38-40

Christ must be referring here to the two men who died next to Him on the cross; two men whose lives and deaths God had ordained according to His purpose, "declaring the end from the beginning."

"No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me." -- John 6:44-45

Just as one thief did, and one thief didn't.
