I believe the Lord has done as He promised. He has preserved His word through all ages and turmoil and deceit and darkness
Truly, to think otherwise is to suggest that man has some control over God - or that He is not powerful enough to preserve and perform His own words.
Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it. - Jer 1:2 For I [am] the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD. - Eze 12:25
Man gets himself into trouble when he adds to the words of God, or ignores parts of them.
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish [ought] from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. - Deut 4:2
But puny, mortal man cannot thwart the will of God.
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it. - Isaiah 55:11
Indeed, a thing is true because God says it.
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. - Psalms 33:6 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. - Matthew 5:18
God is not stumped by languages and translations, clerical or copying/printing errors, computer malfunctions, attempts to control, manipulate or destroy His words and so on. To God be the glory, not man, never man!
