Yes but what does he love? You can either love the darkness or the light but you can't love both.
I see these types of sayings pop up here from time to time. I suppose our Lord Jesus would have appeared to have been "bashing" those selling turtle doves for exorbitant prices in the temple when He threw them out. After all, weren't the sellers doing a service of convenience even though they were making a profit? Were those whips really necessary? Wasn't He coming across a bit insensitive and harsh rather than in a loving spirit? Is this how God would want us to act?
It becomes a matter of perspective.
Why did God create you?
Isa 43:7 [Even] every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
Isa 42:8 I [am] the LORD: that [is] my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Excellent post! Thanks!
Nice link Saundra thanks!:)
Saundra,
Were’nt you saved before you became Mormon. All those years you spent as a Christian, didn’t you ever once ask Christ into your life and your heart?
I just would be surprised if you hadn’t. So indeed He would be your Savior.
I would heed Mormons to stop searching for something outside Him to save you. You can do nothing to add to what he has already done.
Through Mormonism one searches for their own glory by performing ordinances, oaths, works and taking covenants.
Have you been through the Temple yet?
I’ve thought of your words fred.
You are the one who has control over what words anger you. If you have anger over my words, it is your problem.
I am telling you only my experiences and my knowledge. If I must remain silent for you to be “not angry.” Then, you will be angry....I won’t remain silent, now I know the truth.
For His Glory! Amen
“Maybe Osteen simply chooses love over hate.”
Everyone is expected to choose love over hate, and most of us fail at this at one time or another.
It is totally another thing to ignore the truth for the sake of a false “peace.”
This is not “love” at all.
Love does not deny truth.
“he claims he knows nothing about Mormonism (he needs to brush up)”
OK...well if that is the case, then maybe he needs to refrain from making comment about a subject he admits he doesn’t know about.
If you are going to agree that a particular set of beliefs is “chrisitan”, I am going to assume you have actually studied what those beliefs truly are.

This is a very interesting testimony at that link. I remember never feeling certain about my salvation when I was attending the other churches. And since the preachers often contradicted each other, it was confusing. You know, the pentecostals do not get along with the Baptists, and none of them seem to be able to accept the Catholics.
One time when I was attending Faith, Hope & Love in Issaquah WA, the pastor got up there and told us not to criticize him, that a guy who criticized him dropped dead. “Touch not God’s annointed.” Fear tactic. Anyway, I gave $1,700 to the building fund and not long after, the entire church folded and that pastor disappeared. To this day, I do not know what happened to my $1,700 or to that pastor.
So you can see why I felt something was missing. By the way, I also became disillusioned by the healing stuff. The Baptists teach that you should ask for healing and end with “if it be thy will”. The evangelicals that I hung around with said “it is always God’s will for you to be healed.” But there’s this guy in a wheelchair who does not get healed and a guy with a headache gets healed and gets all excited, running around, jumping up and down, praising God, and the guy in the wheelchair looks rejected. The whole thing started to turn my stomach. The Baptists seem unsure about healing. They also seem unsure who they are praying to. If the Holy Spirit is God, why don’t they pray to the Holy Ghost. Dear Holy Ghost, please heal me . . . and how to close . . . in whose name. They seem confused.
I love my Church. It is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I feel safe here. We pray to Heavenly Father in the Name of His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost leads and guides us.
So did you accept Christ as your Savior at sometime before you joined the Mormon Church?
If not, why not? If so, why did you doubt Him and his word, the Bible? Was it because you ran into phoney pastors, like Olsteen perhaps?
Isn’t ultimately your salvation between you and the Lord? What do Pastors have to do with it? Obviously you came across men who caused you to doubt. But the Bible is clear. Do NOT put your faith in men. Never. Ever. Not even supposed “Prophets” unless you test them first.
Check out the link in Saundra’s post. “More for Tony.” It’s all about Tony, and absolutely nothing about the glory of the Lord.
Disgusting! As are the other testimonies on the website. And they wonder why we don’t think their Christian. Self-centered, self-serving.
More like, it's saying that you don't know Him as we know Him.
You are the one who has control over what words anger you. If you have anger over my words, it is your problem.

This is what I said to get your answer.
=+=+=
And then, posting after posting, you use words that inflame and anger, so your love for us only helps you.
=+=+=
What I hear you saying is that YOU DO NOT CARE FOR MOR THEN YOURSELF when it come to having a conversation.
You only care for how you feel about your writings.
By your beliefs, why did God creat us?
I alredy posted that on this thread. For HIS Glory.

I say what God has directed me to say. I tell the truth of His word. If that angers you, then He is not in you.

your personal revelation, from what you think is your god is, likes to piss people off.
and as you say, for his fun.
