Again, I believe this is a misunderstanding of Ahmadinejad's and the Hojjatieh Society's beliefs.
Muslim millennialists believe that we -- Westerners, especially Christian Western Culture -- have already created "horrific conditions" throughout the globe. These conditions do not "compel" the Mahdi to appear, but the Hadith already prophesies that he will appear when conditions like those we have made occur.
